Munro continues to produce excellent athletes. Munro athletes are often times exceptional in that they usually perform well in the classroom as well as on the sports field. Many college athletic coaching fraternities in the USA now want to see the 'athletic nursery' in Jamaica known as Munro College.

As we take a look at the hopefuls for 1998, and the students who have received athletic scholarships over the last three decades,  we pause to say to those who have climbed to the top of 'the city upon a hill' - we are proud to know that you continue to do well.

• February 5, 1998 - Munro College Sports Day - [See the Results!]
• February 17, 1998 - Western Champs will be at Munro College.
• April 21-25, 1998 - Penn Relays in  Philadelphia, PA..

Soccer

Soccer scholarships have proven to be a bit more challenging to secure for Munro soccer players. Old boys or anyone else who can be of any assistance, please contact old boy, Dr. Paul Auden (Munro Athletic Consultant - extraordinaire!) or if you prefer you may email Trevor Jackson or MCOBA.
